The book that Alette wrote together with Vasco Silva has been published by Palgrave Macmillan. The book is about intercultural management in Sub-Sahara Africa. The full title is: “Cultural Confluence in organizational change: a Portuguese venture in Angola.” It is an inspirational story, a case study of Silva and his company in Angola. Silva, his management team and the (primarily) Angolan workforce put their heads together and create a change process in which both cultures find their place and confluence actually takes place. Alette has put the case in perspective of African history, culture and management.
“An inspiring study on community building, shared values and transformative cultures in an African society.” (Dr. Michael Onyebuchi Eze, Lecturer African Philosophy, Leiden University).
